Davies - Moussi Out For 12 Weeks

Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has said he will probably be without midfielder Guy Moussi for 12 weeks.

The Frenchman picked up a thigh injury in the 2-1 win at Coventry last week and scans have revealed that the damage is as bad as feared.

Moussi has been in inspired form so far this season and was key to the success that has seen us rise to 2nd place in the table.

Davies told Sky Sports News. It is a massive blow with Guy Moussi because it has been confirmed that we are probably looking at 12 weeks. It is a disaster for us. It is bad news for us, for him and the club. We have lost one good player in Moussi.'

Looking on the bright side and clutching at straws, it might be another white lie that the wee man has told us. He does have previous for stretching the gravity of these situations, as he did with the injury to Paul McKenna last season. It's probably wishful thinking, but it would be a massive lift to have him back before the crucial end of season run in.

Methinks if he got more support from his board when he asks for it he wouldn't have to play these little games.
