'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Friends Reunited.

Dave Watson, the new keeper coach with the Reds, joined forces with former Northampton colleagues, Colin Calderwood and David Kerslake.

Watson joined up with the rest of the team a little later than everyone else due to his recent wedding. Watson told the OS, 'It's great to get back to work and start doing what we're all about, trying to improve the goalkeepers and get ready for the new season.'

Watson retired at the early age of 24, due to serious injury after a promising career at Barnsley where he helped them into the Premiership in 1997.

Watson also went on to say 'It's a big challenge for all of us, but i see it as a fantastic opportunity for us to push the club forward and hopefully we will be successful.'
