Kris Boyd Joins Forest On Loan

Nottingham Forest have today officially announced, that Middlesbrough striker Kris Boyd has joined on loan until the end of the current season.

The former Rangers hit man hasn't had the best of times since joining 'Boro in the summer, with only 6 goals in his 31 appearances this season. That statistic however, does not do justice to his strike rate prior to his summer move, because he was the SPL top scorer in 4 of his 5 seasons at Ibrox. He is also the all time top scorer in the SPL with 164 goals to his name.

If he can get the service, he will get goals, as he has consistently proved throughout his career. Goalscoring has become something of a problem for Forest this season and he could be the ideal solution for that. Good signing but im worried this may show that Robbie Findley is out for the season? Does anyone know any news on him? I may of missed out on something living in Newcastle!
