'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Prutton backs Smith

Former Forest fans favourite David Prutton, now at Southampton has backed his old team mate, Paul Smith to be a success at Forest.

Smith has been Forest's first and only signing to date, and the confident Goalkeeper is set to take over the Reds number 1 goalkeeping position from the departed Paul Gerrard.

Talking to the Forest official site, Prutton said:

'Theres no doubting his ability'

'He works incredibly hard in training'

and summed up by saying:

'I think Colin(Calderwood) has made a great signing.'
