Davies - Focus Is On Palace Game

Forest take on Crystal Palace at lunchtime today, knowing that a point will guarantee them a place in the end of season Playoffs, but Billy Davies has stressed the need to concentrate on what his side does at Selhurst Park and not what's happening elsewhere.

Davies told the official site. 'We don't need to worry about what Leeds are doing at Queens Park Rangers if we look after our own concerns and what we've got to do. We can't rely on anyone else and things to go for us elsewhere. We've got to make sure we work our socks off first and foremost, make sure our attitude is right and make sure there is no complacency because, quite simply, we're not guaranteed anything yet. There's still some work to be done and that's the clear message to the players.'

Forest go into the Palace game 3 points ahead of Leeds and a +6 goal difference. So long as we avoid defeat, the Leeds result wont matter. Hopefully the lads can do the business today and take a decent run of form and some much needed confidence into the lottery of the Playoffs that will commence next Thursday.
