Win A Signed Copy Of 'Big Norm'

Former Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Mark Crossley, made 303 appearances for the Reds' in his 13 years at the club and he's about to release his autobiography 'Big Norm, ' due to be published on September 1.

The book will reveal a side of the game rarely spoken about by players, in which he talks about the dressing room banter, player contracts and some of the characters he has met throughout his career at every club he played for, including his time at Middlesbrough, Fulham, Stoke, Sheffield Wednesday, Oldham and currently reserve team manager and goalkeeping coach at Chesterfield, under another Forest old boy John Sheridan.

Big Norm played under 21 different managers during his playing days, including Brian Clough, Frank Clark, Ron Atkinson and David Platt whilst at Forest alone. In the book, Mark has a few harsh words about former Forest boss David Platt. Mark said. 'David Platt was the only manager I never saw eye to eye with, so 1 out of 21 'aint bad.' It's an honest, funny and sometimes brutal look at the game from inside the dressing room.

'Big Norm' is due for release on September 1, but you can pre order a 'dedicated to' signed copy, with your name printed in the back of a special edition hardback, by clicking Here. You can also check out Big Norm's personal website at bignorm.co.uk. Pre ordered copies of the book cost £17.99, plus £2.00 P+P>

One lucky Vital Forest member will win a signed copy of the book. All you have to do to be in with a chance to win, is answer this simple question posed by Mark himself. What shoe size is Mark Crossley? The correct answer according to Mark, is either 9 or 10, so take your pick. Send your answer to forest@vitalfootball.co.uk and the lucky winner will be announced on or around June20.

Mark has also kindly agreed to do a Q&A for Vital Forest, so if you have a question you would like to ask him, then post it on the forum today and we'll put the best questions to him when we speak again next week.
