Welcome Home Andy Reid!
Andy Reid has today returned home to Nottingham Forest and will sign a two year deal with the club, subject to a medical.
That`s all there is on the matter on the official site, but it`s great news for Forest fans awaiting the first official new signing of the summer under Steve McClaren.
Reid joins on a free transfer from Blackpool, where he was released at the end of last season. He`s a product of the Nottingham Forest academy and was sold to Tottenham Hotspur along with Michael Dawson, back in 2005, for a combined fee of £8m. The Championship will be needing a new arsehole next May. He's gonna rip it to shreds. Welcome home, Andy Reid.
