The Vital Forest Fan Interview: Lee Cotterill

The Vital Forest Fan Interview: Lee Cotterill

Q - How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?

Been following the Reds for 25 years and first game was against Notts County when we were last in the same division, whenever that was?

Q - What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.

Most memorable was watching Forest hammer Notts 4:1 when Teddy Sheringham and Roy Keane were in the team. Worst time was losing to Blackpool at home in the Playoffs.

Q - Since you have been following Forest, what would your best starting eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

Always will be Stuart 'Psycho' Pearce.

Q - In your opinion, what is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

Probably either a Pearce free-kick screamer or a Collymore run in on goal from the half-way line.

Q - Best and worst away ground visited?

sCUNThorpe!

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see us sign this summer (realistically)?

A decent Left Back, Central Defender, Midfield Hardman and a 20 goal machine although I have no one particular in mind.

Q - All seater stadia. Good thing, or a bad thing?

It`s ok.

Q - What are your thoughts on how Forest did last season and how did it compare to your expectations?

They did well and fell to bits at the end again. We need some steel, experience and killer instinct.

Q - What are your expectations for next season in the Championship/Where will we finish?

Just below the playoffs as we are, but with a few excellent signings we could be challenging the top 5.

Q- Was it right for the club to sack Billy Davies?

I would have given him till the end of his contract but now we have a new manager you have to back the side no matter what.

Q - What's your opinion on the appointment of Steve McClaren and will he bring success to the club?

I Hope it will only be good for the club and hopefully he will have enough contacts to get a few decent players in and raise the profile of the club.

Q- Acquisitions Panel. Good thing or bad?

Shite! get rid ASAP!!

Q - Where do you sit/stand at the City Ground?

Brian Clough Lower Q

Q - Name the celebrity whose back doors you'd most like to smash.

She's a double MILF but Holly Willoughby would still get it!
