The Vital Forest Fan Interview: Rob1

The Vital Forest Fan Interview: Rob1

Q - What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.

Have to say watching the European cup wins on TV as a kid it really inspired me to become a full time Forest fan, I was 11 years old then and remember it well. On the bad times, Brian Clough`s death and watching Forest relegation to league one.

Q - Since you have been following Forest, what would your best starting eleven be? And who is your all time favorite player?

Shilton, Walker, Cooper, Psycho, Louis-jean, Lars Bohinen, Keane, Clough, Webb, Collymore, Van Hooijdonk, Francis , Roy and favorite player? Emm probably have to say Collymore.

Q - In your opinion, what is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

Majewski against West Brom and McGugan free kick against Ipswich although there have been many down the years.

Q - Best and worst away ground visited?

Northampton when they were in the old cricket ground, still just has shit in their new one.

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see us sign this summer (realistically)?

James Perch ha-ha I really hope to never see him again in a forest shirt. I just hope we sign a decent left back and striker, I would like to see us restructure the midfield. I would love to see some unknown Dutch players, but as long as they fooking get on with it.

Q - All seater stadia. Good thing or a bad thing?

At my age all seater is good but if you suffer from piles or an anal fissure it is bad! Ha-ha .

Q - What are your thoughts on how Forest did last season and how did it compare to your expectations?

Last season was very frustrating and has most of you know my frustration really came out on vital, I thought we performed well at times and really it is no more than what I expected, I never once thought throughout the season that we were ever good enough for promotion.

Q - What are your expectations for next season in the Championship/Where will we finish?

I am really excited about this coming season especially with McClaren in charge, I think we`ll see a marked improvement in the type of player coming to forest although it is going to be tough I have no doubt with all the expected players to arrive we will be a force, top 2.

Q- Was it right for the club to sack Billy Davies?

Bloody right they were and not a moment too soon this guy was one of the main reasons for my frustrations last season, I hated his comments , I hated his away tactics , I hated his recommendations and evaluations , let`s just say , I didn`t like him much! Ha-ha.

Q - What's your opinion on the appointment of Steve McClaren and will he bring success to the club?

I am very pleased with this appointment over all although an Englishman with a Scottish name and a Dutch accent is a little annoying Ha-ha. I think Steve will be a big success if backed and I am sure he will be.

Q- Acquisitions Panel. Good thing or bad?

Probably a good thing apart from Mark Arthur`s involvement he should be taken to a place with no name a shot covered over and forgotten about.

Q - Where do you sit/stand at the City Ground?

T block 7 anyone that sits near by please come and say hello I am a nice guy really! Lol.

Q - Name the celebrity whose back doors you'd most like to smash.

Mila Kunis, man I could lick the badge off her, she is one woman I could! Well actually I would probably explode before I got near her ha-ha.

Many thanks to Rob1, for taking the time out to answer the questions. If you would like to take part in the Fan Interviews, you`ll find a copy of the questions here. Just email your answers to forest@vitalfootball.co.uk and they will be published on the front page.
