Double City loan signing for Forest?

Forest are 'plotting' a 'double loan swoop' on Man City according to reports in The Evening Post today.

John Guidetti and Gai Assulin are said to be the youngsters in questions.

Swedish U21 international Guidetti, who scored 1 goal in 5 loan games with Burnley last season, has not played a league game for City yet although the 19-year-old has featured in the league cup and been in European squads.

A 'prolific scorer' at youth levels the Swede is thought to be looking for more 1st team opportunities and has been linked with Steve McClaren's former club FC Twente in a loan move. Guidetti is described as an 'outstanding prospect'.

Israeli international Assulin has found it even harder to break into the City 1st team squad, although he does have some pedigree and is a former Barcelona player. The winger, who can apparently operate on either flank or straight through the middle, started his youth career with Barcelona and played for the Barcelona B side - progression into the 1st team squad was made but injuries halted his progress and he joined City in December.

The 20-year-old holds the record of becoming the Israel's youngest international, making his debut before his 17th birthday in 2008.

Reports say that McClaren is trying to secure this double loan before the season kicks-off this weekend if possible...

THey'd serve you well. Guidetti will bag goals in your league and Assulin is a crafty midfielder. Good luck
