Miller To Finalise Forest Move Today

Ishmael Miller will today complete the formalities on a 3 year deal, following his transfer from West Bromwich Albion.

The 24 year old becomes the fifth signing for manager Steve McClaren and is the second striker to sign for the club in less than a week (that's a bloody miracle for NFFC!), joining Matthew Derbyshire.

Miller has now fully recovered from the cruciate ligament injury, that kept him out of the game for 14 months. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Premiership new boys QPR, making 12 appearances and scoring once for the eventual winners of the Championship.

According to the official site, the club is expected to confirm the signing later today, for a reported fee of £1.2m. Welcome to the City Ground Ishmael Miller.

I am deighted that this quality striker is joining us but will keep the welcomes on ice until after I see him in a shirt etc - couldn't stand another case of the 'Verhoeks'

Glad we signed him - but it looks like the Forest shirt he is wearing on the Official Site today has been pasted on via Photoshop - it don't look real!

Good signing for us I think. He's excellent at this level and possibly useful when we're up? (he said hopefully)...
