Clint Hill Emergency Loan Deal Confirmed

Nottingham Forest have today confirmed that QPR defender Clint Hill has joined the club on a 93 day emergency loan deal.

Hill was an ever present in the QPR side that won promotion to the Premiership last season, but has not played for the London club, since being sent off in the opening game of this season, following their 4-0 home defeat to Bolton.

The 32 year old is a tough tackling left back and can also play as a centre half. He will replace the injured Chris Cohen, who is now expected to be out for the remainder of the season, after picking up a cruciate knee ligament injury in the 2-1 defeat against Derby on Saturday.

You've got yourselves a great player there. He will not let you down and knows what it takes to get out of the championship (the right way !). Good luck for the rest of the season, remember it's still very early days.

About time we snagged a left back, and I think he'll do well for us.

So, if we've been trying SOOOO Hard to bring in new signings and loan players since the end of last season with so little success, how come we can sign Clint Hill up in a matter of hours after Chris Cohen gets injured? This board couldn't lie straight in bed.

@ Melgarion that gets it said proper - and I also guess that now we have one signing in that will be that - no more in - coz they HAD to get one for that position in the circumstances. They think that we are stupid they really do

That makes 11 out 6 in. Then there are the long term injuries we've got and the muppets wonder why the team struggles without pace,LB, leadership.....etc. Why didn't the clods do this deal before CC's injury which would have released him into the middle of the park where he was needed. I see Pugh(winger/midfield )has gone from Stoke to Leeds. Apparently Marther was on his way to do the deal for us ,but his lost his bike clips in the Meadows !! Ha !!
