I am totally underwhelmed by this appointment, but as I love my club I will get behind him, although I do feel oncoming mid - table obscurity for the next few seasons. Good luck - lets hope you are not the 'yes man' that I think you are though.

You're underwhelmed?! We're overwhelmed! Thankyou thankyou thankyou, perhaps we'll get someone who has some tactical nouse, talks sense instead of nonsense when giving press something to write about. Good luck Forest, you're gonna need it! Personally I think there was an element of jumping ship before being pushed to save the embarrassment of being fired, I really do not think there would have been much more time at Pompey given performances and results.

What a joke of a club. From play offs, to the manager to take us to the next level, to a manager capable of working with no money, and trying to stave off relegation!!! All that inside 6 months!! Cosmic!! Sell up Nigel you have well and truly brought NFFC to its knees!!

Definitely went before he was pushed. Still, he came to us and stayed with us when no one else would, put up with a lot of rubbish as well. Also, he kept us in the No Power last year, when he could barely muster a team, lt alone a bench. For that I'm grateful to him, but also relieved he's gone. Mind you - what next for us? I dread to think......

A view from a pompey fan... SC was aloud to go because of the £300,000 u gave us! He was in the pipeline to be sacked which we would have to pay compo out for! And then a little club like forest pop up and say here's £300,000! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! A- for the cash and B- for getting rid of the worst Pompey manager since Hart! I use to rate forest.... 'use to' lol GOOD LUCK hahaha
