Portsmouth 3 Forest 0

Steve Cotterill's return to Portsmouth, just weeks after leaving Fratton Park for the City Ground, wasn't a happy one with Forest coming back with nothing but a 3-0 defeat.

A fantastic strike on the stroke of half time from Erik Huseklepp (45), following up after a Hayden Mullins effort had come back off the bar, gave Pompey a 1-0 lead going into the half time break.

Having missed a couple of early chances at the start of the second half Dave Kitson (76) finally put the hosts 2-0 up before Huseklepp's (84) second secured the points.

expect the same old excuses from cotterill, we heard them many times down here, we now have a temp manager who knows how to get the best out of players even when we are not playing well, cotterill promises much but just doen't deliver PUP

LOVE the picture above! Cotterball will say 'Forest were the better team, I don't know how we lost'' or the old classic 'they were over-trained and tired' this game was 3inches away from a 4-0 enjoy Steve Cotterball Forest Fans lol say hello to Nots County next season for us :) Play Up Pompey!
