Leicester Make Improved Offer For Morgan

Sky Sports News are reporting that Leicester City are to make a second bid for Reds' centre half Wes Morgan.

According to the report, the Foxes have already made one bid for around £500,000. News from the official site confirms one bid has been made and that the club have rejected it.

£500,000 seems a good price to me, but fair play to NFFC if they can get more. Personally, I'd get rid now and cash in on a player out of contract at the end of this season.

Morgan has made over 400 appearances for the Reds' and is a product of the youth academy.

There are eleven days of the January transfer window left for us to trade and we need to act quick. Midfielder Lewis McGugan is also reportedly interesting Wolves and he could be another on his way out of the City Ground door.

I hope he stays. In the Championship select 11 last season remember. If he wasn't out of contract soon he'd be worth £2m, so I'd rather we sold a surplus striker and give him a new contract. I have no problem when prem clubs come knocking as you can't begrudge your players a shot at the top flight, but going to club who will be a rival next year for the championship, and who have a bloated squad already? I'd rather not.
