Colin Calderwood was delighted with Grant Holt's display against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon
Holt scored twice to maintain Nottingham Forest's 100% start to the season and in the process ended the Reds' early-season run of missed penalties.
Calderwood told the club website after the City Ground clash: 'Grant turned in an exceptional centre forward performance today and we're all pleased for him.
'He wasn't in the team when we kicked off the season but he was always going to get his chance.
'With Nathan Tyson getting injured, he's done superbly well.'
