Mixed Emotions For Cotterill After Pompey Win

Forest boss Steve Cotterill says he had mixed emotions following the win over his former club Portsmouth on Saturday.

The Reds' ran out 2-0 winners, thanks to 2 second half goals from striker Dexter Blackstock. The win saw Cotterill finish the season 10 points clear of the drop zone, having spent most of his short spell in charge battling relegation.

Cotterill told the official site. 'It was hard to see the Portsmouth lads at the end of the game because I know many of them better than I know my own players. But it was one of those occasions when you have to do your job professionally, which is exactly what we did, but I feel for the Portsmouth lads.'
