McCleary Is First Out Of The NFFC Exit Door

Forest winger Garath McCleary, today became the first of the out of contract players at the club to depart for pastures new.

The Nottingham Forest Player of the Season, turned down a new contract with the Reds, rumoured to be between £8-10k per week, in favour of a move to newly promoted Reading.

McCleary joins the Royals on a free transfer and has signed a three year deal with the club.

When does Marthur and the Muppets' contracts end? Perhaps we could lose them for nothing.....at least the club would be better off ,methinks.

Unbelievably incompetent management to say the least but McCleary's an ungrateful bar steward at the same time; without Cotterill believing in him the only transfer he would have got was back to non league.

I don't ink so melgarion, there were takers for him in the championship before he came back from injury. He kept us in this league and is now realising his dream you bitter sod. Be thankful we are still in the championship which is far better for the club than retaining him in league one. All the best garath
