The Vital Forest Fan Interview: Chris Randle

Chris Randle is the first Forest fan to sit in the hot seat and answer the questions in the 2012 edition of the world famous Vital Forest Fan Interviews.

Q - How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?

I have supported forest all 25 years of my life and my first match was vs West Brom at home and I remember standing on a milk crate in the old Trent end to watch it with my dad, brothers and uncle.

Q - What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.

Memorable moments.

Checking scores on the final day of the season when we won promotion from league 1 and jumping into the pool at where I work in full uniform.

Bad. Losing to Sheff Utd in the playoffs.

Q - Since you have been following Forest, what would your best starting eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

Starting 11. Crossley, Pearce, Morgan, Dawson, Louis Jean, Reid (first time), Stone, Woan, Bohinen, Van Hooijdonk, Earnshaw........favourite player.....PSYCHO.

Q - In your opinion, what is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

Radi Majewski goal vs West Brom a couple of years ago was my favourite goal.

Q - Best and worst away ground visited?

Best ground - White Hart Lane

Worst Ground - Colchester Utd's old ground.

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see us sign this summer (realistically)?

I'd love to see Forest sign Nick Powell from Crewe.

Q - All seater stadia. Good thing, or a bad thing?

Seats are good and safe but I loved the standing at some league 1 grounds.

Q - What are your thoughts on how Forest did last season and how did it compare to your expectations?

I thought and hoped we would challenge for promotion again but the sacking of Davies soon diminished my dreams. I was very disappointed with this season.

Q - What are your expectations for next season in the Championship/Where will we finish?

If Forest survive relegation again we will be lucky.

Q - With the introduction of Financial Fair Play coming soon, do you think NFFC should spend their way to promotion, or adopt a more frugal approach in trying to achieve it?

Money doesn't matter to forest because it seems whether we spend it or not we don't get promoted so might as well just spend wisely.

Q - Name a former Forest player you were most disappointed to see sign for another club?

Disappointed to see Commons leave on a free to the Sheep.

Q - What's your opinion on Steve Cotterill and will he bring success to the club?

Cotterill is a nice guy, thanks for keeping us up but is not a manager aggressive enough to take a team to the next level.

Q - New stadium, or renovate the City Ground?

Renovate the City Ground.

Q - If you could give one piece of advice to the eventual new owners of NFFC, what would it be?

Advice.GET RID OF MARK ARTHUR!

Q - Where do you sit/stand at the City Ground?

Upper Bridgford normally or A Block.

Q - Name the celebrity you would most like to meet.

Meeting David Beckham would be pretty nice I suppose.
