NFFC Takeover Enters Final Stages
The takeover of Nottingham Forest Football Club moved a step closer today, with news from the official site, that a period of exclusivity has been granted to Messrs. Fawaz, Abdulaziz & Omar Al-Hasawi over the potential purchase of the club.
Kuwaiti businessman Mr. Fawaz Al - Hasawi has been the subject of much debate amongst Forest fans in recent weeks, after hinting, teasing and speculating that he might be in the process of purchasing a Championship football club. Conclusions drawn at the time, were that it was either Leeds United, or Nottingham Forest that were his target. The official announcement today from NFFC, suggests it was the Reds' all along.
The club will not be commenting any further on the matter, whilst Due Dilligence is being carried out.
