Ayala Signs On Season Long Loan Deal

Norwich City defender Daniel Ayala has finally completed his move to Nottingham Forest and joins the club on a season long loan deal.

Ayala is 21 years of age and highly rated by the Canaries. He spent much of last season plagued with knee injuries, but the U'21 Spanish international is now fit and raring to go.

Championship rivals Hull City were understood to have made a formal bid for the talented defender, but the decision to join the Reds' will be seen as a much needed boost to the defence.

Ayala becomes the sixth new signing of the summer for Sean O'Driscoll's new look squad. West Brom's Simon Cox is expected to be the seventh, with a 2m bid having been accepted by West Brom according to unofficial reports.
