Forest Through To Round Two Of Capital One Cup
The first round game of the Capital One League Cup at Fleetwood tonight, was the first senior game in charge for new Nottingham Forest manager Sean O'Driscoll and he got off to a winning start, as the Reds' ran out 1-0 winners over the newly promoted League 2 side.
As well as it being the first game in charge for O'Driscoll, four of the new signings made their debuts. Danny Collins, who captained the side, Dan Harding, Greg Halford and Daniel Ayala, all made their first senior appearances for the club.
Forest won the game thanks to a second half goal from striker Dexter Blackstock.
