It's Wigan At Home In the Capital One Cup

Nottingham Forest have been rewarded with a home tie against Premier League Wigan, in the second round of the Capital One Cup.

The Reds' booked their place in the second round, thanks to a 1-0 win at Fleetwood Town on Monday night.

This will be the first time the two sides have met in the competion, having previously only played each other 4 times in the league. Last time we played Wigan, was back in 2005 at the City Ground where the match ended in a 1-1 draw. On the 4 occasions the sides have met, Forest have drawn 3 and won 1.

The game is due to be played the week beginning August 27.
