Forest sign Agogo for £125,000

NOTTINGHAM Forest today finally completed the signing of Bristol Rovers striker Junior Agogo.

Chief executive Mark Arthur confirmed that a deal - thought to be worth in the region of £125,000 - had at last been agreed with the League Two club, who had been reluctant to lose the 27-year-old.

The Ghana international agreed personal terms on a three-year deal with the League One leaders, as manager Colin Calderwood sought to find cover for injured front-man Nathan Tyson, who is expected to be sidelined for another three months with knee ligament damage.

Forest are still waiting for the player's registration to be approved, a formality now that the clubs have reached an agreement after three weeks of negotiations.

'We are now just waiting for final clearance from the FA and the Football League,' said Arthur. 'We expect that to come through today.'
