Nottingham Forest were 1-0 up and looking like they had deservedly got all three points in the bag at the Galpharm Stadium last night. The Reds' were a goal to the good thanks to a 68th minute strike from Simon Cox, but had to settle for a share of the points when Huddersfield equalised in the final minute of injury time.
Sean O'Driscoll said they went into the game with a plan and everything was working well until Danny Collins gave away the penalty that the home side levelled with.
O'Driscoll told the official site. "We were home and dry but this is the Championship and everybody knows what a tough league it is. Games are never over until they are over and you`ve got nothing to lose when you are the team behind. Something dropped for them and you have to give them credit but performance wise I thought we were terrific."
The result whilst disappointing due to the timing of the equaliser, leaves Forest unbeaten (albeit after only two games) but still means it's a decent start to the new campaign and bodes well for the season ahead. Forest are back in action again on Friday night, when they travel to Bolton for their game at the Reebok, which is being shown live on Sky TV (KO: 7.45pm).
