Lansbury Becomes The Magnificent Seventh

Arsenal's 21 year old and highly rated midfielder Henri Lansbury has completed a move to the City Ground and becomes the 7th new permanent signing of the summer for Sean O'Driscoll.

Lansbury has signed a four year deal for a fee believed to be in excess of 1m. He's the 7th permanent signing for the club, making a total of 9 new players brought in since the appointment of O'Driscoll, including the season long loan deals for Ayala and Hutchinson.

Henri Lansbury is one of the brightest young prospects in the game and has had successful loan spells at Norwich and West Ham, where he helped both clubs achieve promotion to the Premier League. He's also an established England U'21 international and has just been named in the latest squad to play in the European Championship qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Norway. Welcome to the City Ground Henri Lansbury.
