Lansbury Injury Rules Out Charlton Debut

Henri Lansbury will have to delay his Nottingham Forest debut, due to an ankle injury. The new £1m signing was hoping to make his first appearance for the Reds' this weekend against Charlton Athletic at the City Ground, but the injury will not have cleared up in time.

Lansbury signed a four year deal at the City Ground on Tuesday and according to manager Sean O'Driscoll, they knew about the injury before he signed. The former Arsenal midfielder has also had to withdraw from the England U'21 squad who are due to play two European Championship qualifiers next week.

Speaking to the BBC Lansbury said. I have a slight injury but I am at the back end of it now. Maybe after the international break I will be back fit playing.'
