Head To Head: Forest v Birmingham City

What a difference a year makes! The last time Nottingham Forest entertained Birmingham City at home, it was amidst fan protests about how the club was being run. That day last October, ended with a humiliating 3-1 defeat on the pitch and the resignation of the Chairman and sacking of the manager off it. Fast forward almost 12 months and we now have new owners, a new manager and a virtually new squad.

Despite the 3-1 defeat at home last October, we did get some revenge in the return fixture at St. Andrews in February. We came away with a surprisingly deserved 2-1 win and 3 very valuable points.

There have been a total of 88 meetings in the League between the two sides, in which Forest have won 34, drawn 24 and lost 30. You do however have to go all the way back to 1999, to find the last time we beat the Blues at home. It came via a solitary goal from Marlon Harewood.
