Jenas On His Way Back To Forest?

Several media sources are now saying that former crowd favourite Jermaine Jenas, could be in line to make a loan move back to Nottingham Forest and his hometown club.

Rumours of his return have been circulating on the forum since the beginning of the season, but the national press are now also saying that a move to the City Ground is close. Forest boss Sean O'Driscoll played down the news, saying he hadn't had any contact with Jenas about a move to the club.

Jenas only made 33 appearances for Forest scoring 4 goals, after making his Forest debut in 2001 under Paul Hart. The midfielder quickly made a name for himself and was sold to Newcastle in 2002 for £5m. He went on to join Spurs in 2005 for £7m, where he is contracted until the end of this season. Jenas has also made 21 appearances for England.

Jermaine Jenas spent a season long loan at Aston Villa last year, but he only made 3 appearances due to injury. He suffered an Achilles injury in December during a 1-0 defeat against Man Utd, which put him out of action for the rest of the campaign. If the rumours of his return to the City Ground are true, he could be available for the crunch game at home to the Sheep on Sunday.
