The Men In Black: Blackpool v Forest
Mr. Eddie Ilderton from sunny Tyne and Wear gets the gig for the nPower Championship clash at Bloomfield Road tonight, between Blackpool and Nottingham Forest.
Mr. Ilderton had the pleasure of taking charge of 3 of our games last season and the results were mixed. He refereed two of our worst displays of the last campaign, in the 5-1 drubbing away at Burnley and the 3-0 home defeat to Southampton. Sandwiched in between those 2 horror shows, was the performance of the season though, when Leeds Utd were torn apart 7-3 at Elland Road.
So far this season, Mr. Ilderton has taken charge of 10 games, in which he's dished out 33 yellow cards and 1 red.
He will be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. Gary Hilton and Mr. Kevin Mattocks. The fourth official is Mr. Jeremy Simpson.
