McGoldrick Finding His Feet & The Net In League 1
It's not too unkind to say that most Forest fans were delighted to hear that David McGoldrick had agreed to join League one side Coventry City on loan at the beginning of the season, but few would have expected him to be scoring goals for fun whilst there.
In his 14 games to date for the Sky Blues, McGoldrick has found the net 8 times, with 6 of them coming in the last 6 games.
His current loan deal at the Ricoh ends in January, but Coventry could end up with competition to keep him if a report in the Sheffield Star is to be believed.
According to the Yorkshire press, Barnsley boss Keith Hill is monitoring McGoldrick and is said to be keen on the 24 year old. Whilst he may not have pulled up any trees since his £1m move from Southampton in 2009 for Forest, he may have found his level and his feet in League 1 with City.
