'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Agogo Predicts A Goal Fest

The Reds have not scored in their last three games. But the £125,000 striker insists they can rediscover their finishing touch - and when they do, there will be no stopping them.

Forest are top of League One ahead of their trip to Vale Park.

And Agogo believes their performances will yield a flurry of goals.

He told the NEP, 'We are not concerned at all because we are creating so many chances.

'Look at the Tranmere game - we hit the crossbar and the keeper made some great saves - and it was the same at Carlisle.

'If one of those goes in it could be a field day for us. We could get three or four.'

Forest's impressive start to the season has been due to their outstanding defensive record - conceding only four goals in ten games.

That is the best in the division - but in goal-scoring they sit joint tenth.

Agogo said: 'All we need to do is concentrate on getting the first goal and once we do that we can go on to get lots more, because then the confidence will build.

'We are not getting too carried away - we still have to keep things tight at the back. But if we get one early doors, anything can happen.'

And he says Forest will be more potent when Kris Commons returns from injury.

The midfielder played 30 minutes against Tranmere - enough to make a confirmed admirer out of Agogo.

'What a player,' he said. 'He makes a massive difference. You can tell the difference his presence makes and you could see the reception he got from the fans when he came on.

'I'd heard about him before and now I'm just pleased to be playing with him.'
