Nicky Eaden leaving the Reds

Nicky Eaden's dyer Nottingham Forest career could becoming to an end as the right back is currently negotiating his release from the Club in order to join Lincoln City in the January transfer window.

The former Wigan right back has been impressing both on and off the pitch at Lincoln with his attitude towards helping the younger players off the pitch and his performances on the pitch.

Many Forest fans will be happy to see him leave the club as he has often under performed to the levels he set at Wigan and often appeared to lack the passion needed to win over the Reds faithful and help Forest last season get out of the League.

The form on John Curtis in the first team currently leaves Nicky Eaden with little chance of first team football and with the progression of James Cullingworth it would seem as if Nicky Eaden has played his final game for the club.

In a move which would be good for both parties as Nicky Eaden would get a better opportunity at first team football and Nottingham Forest would be able to remove a reasonable wage of their wage bill which would no doubt give Colin Calderwood better freedom in the January transfer market.

At the moment Nicky Eaden agreed a three month loan which Lincoln and his second month will end this month with him return to Forest for a month and then he will go back in December in the month where it is hoped he will agree terms for a permanent transfer in January.

am glad that he is on his way, he would be a good candidate for the worst forest XI

The guy could not play at all. I remember that cold, wet day at Oakwell last season watching Eaden play 60 yard hoofs to Eugene Dadi. One of the most depressing days ever.
