Yeading - 'Who The Hell Are They?'

Forest have been drawn at home against Conference South side Yeading in the first round of the FA Cup. They made it to the third round two years ago, when they were beaten 2-0 by Newcastle United at Loftus Road. The only memory i have of that game is that the keeper was about 5 mins away from winning a car if he kept a clean sheet, suffice to say, he didn't.

As every Forest fan knows, Yeading is in the London borough of Hillingdon, not far from Heathrow. The clubs' nickname is 'The Ding,' an explanation of this, i have yet to find and they play their home games at The Warren. Thinking of buying property in Yeading? The average price of a studio flat is £100,000 while a 2 bed flat will set you back in the region of £155,000. Meanwhile, a 3 bedroom house is likely to cost you over £260,000.

Anyhoots, on the football front, they are managed by the impressive sounding Johnson Hippolyte. During his playing career he has had spells at Hampton & Richmond, Aldershot Town, Dulwich Hamlet, Chesham United, Chertsey Town, Wealdstone, Chalfont St Peter, Uxbridge and Hounslow. His current stint at Yeading started on December 2, 2004. Yeading are currently 9th in Conference South and have reached the first round proper after beating St. Albans 2-1 at home. This will be seen as a plum tie for 'The Ding' and could be televised, something that is bound to gladden the hearts of every Reds' fan. Forest fans will hope they can overcome Yeading at the first time of asking, as The Warren has a capacity of 3,500.

Can't wait for another sky humiliation. If so, lets hope we put on a decent show and actually reach the 3rd round this year.

Another banana skin!! I'd rather we drew Bristol City than the Ding' Being Dinged by the Ding will be the ultimate embarrasment.

We at Bournemouth said that last season and Tamworth came along and beat us 2-1. Don't count your chickens just yet!

most people think we should win the game but you know what were like. its important for the players to show us fans there capable of having a good cup run. especially after the accrington stanley defeat.
