Calderwood Praises Rhythmic Reds

Nottingham Forest boss, Colin Calderwood has praised his side after the 2-0 victory over a Brentford side languishing towards the foot of the table.

Forest boss Colin Calderwood saluted Commons and admitted he was pleased at the way his side have remained focused despite their lofty position.

Calderwood said: 'Being two goals up at half-time put us in an excellent position. We would like to have gone on to add more but give Brentford credit for changing things in the second half and making life more difficult for us.

'We always look dangerous from set pieces because in Kris Commons and Nicky Southall we have players with good technical ability in that situation.

'The goals just kept us in the nice rhythm we are in at the moment and the players thoroughly deserve to find themselves in the situation they are in.

'They have run a million miles already this season but everyone in our dressing room knows that we have won nothing yet. The good thing is that the players know that themselves and are keeping their feet on the ground without me having to say anything.

'The players are staying focussed on what they want to achieve and even after another victory they were all very level-headed about things.'

No source on this one ;)
goddammit
You really have a bee in you bonnet about this sourcing issue don't you GD! As for the game, I wish had put them so the sword in the second half as we could have racked up 6 against that lot - they were awful.

They were rubbish, that's for sure - don't think you can fault Colin for wanting to put 'em to the sword with the bench he selected, and three very positive attacking substitutions! I do feel strongly about sourcing, otherwise it's just plaigerism and as someone who has created online content in the past, it's frustrating when people just steal it.
