Forest stars in team of the week

Young Forest stars, Sammy Clingan and Kris Commons were named in the league 1 team of the week today.

Clingan marshalled the midfield for Forest, showing good vision and awareness as well as a good work rate.

Commons scored two near identical free kicks, both tremendous strikes, to win the game for the reds.

In truth, many of the other members of the Reds team could have been included after a very good first half performance with the likes of Morgan, Breckin, Cullip, Perch and Agogo also shining.

Good to see we have got midfield players in the team of the week and not just defenders.

Well deserved, too - past nominations for TOTW have been a bit odd from a Forest perspective :)
