Thompson For Tranmere

On-loan Nottingham Forest defender John Thompson is to spend a second month with Tranmere Rovers.
Rovers boss Ronnie Moore was delighted to retain the services of Thompson, 25, whose four games for the club have all been wins.

Moore told his club?s website: 'We were very keen to keep hold of John. He has done very well since he has been here.

'He has settled in well at Prenton Park and we are delighted he agreed to stay with us for another month.'
