Ian Breckin today insisted Nottingham Forest would respond to their first away defeat of the season by starting another unbeaten run at Crewe on Saturday.
The Reds captain revealed the pain felt by the Colin Calderwood's players after the shock 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth on Tuesday.
It was the first time the League One leaders had been beaten on their travels in the league this term. But Breckin says they can put that behind them with three points at Gresty Road.
He said: 'We believe we can go anywhere and win. You look at this season already - we've got a fantastic away record, which the lads are really proud of.
'We went to Bournemouth trying to keep that record going and it hurts everyone that it's gone.'
Forest's away record had been so impressive this season that going into Tuesday's clash at Dean Court only they and Manchester United remained undefeated on their travels.
Forest remain five points clear at the top of League One, and Breckin says nothing will stop their promotion push.
'It's not a blip,' he said. 'We've just lost one game, that's all it is. If you'd have said at the start of the season that we'd lose one away game by the start of December, we'd have taken it.
'We don't like getting beaten. Everyone is upset after losing to Bournemouth, but we're not going to dwell on it.'
Despite Calderwood being critical of his side on Tuesday, Breckin believes they might have come away with something.
'Bournemouth started well in the second half and got the goal, but for the last 25 minutes it was all us,' he said.
