'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Old Big 'Ead' - The Movie

Renowned screenwriter Peter Morgan, is rumoured to be working on a project, that could see Brian Clough immortalised on the silver screen.

The screenwriters credits include the much acclaimed, The Queen and TV drama, Longford. Morgan would have plenty of material to choose from, as the Great Man was a controversial and charismatic character. Cloughs' many famous one liners and quotes alone, will give Morgan plenty of reading material to draw from.

I'm sure that Cloughie would be secretly quite proud of the fact that he was to be the subject of a film, although he would probably have a suitable and derisory comment about it.

Let's just hope that if it happens, they portray him in a way that is befitting of the Great Man himself.
