Calderwood - Disappointed

The reds manager Colin Calderwood was very disapointed to see his team lose two games in a row for the first time this season and wants to see them have a convincing win on boxing day to end the losing streak.

Speaking to the official site he said: ' We missed the opportunity to win a game that was very even. Doncaster didnt do anything to really warrant winning the game and it took a freak goal to divide us.

'We had some super opportunities to inflict a lot more damage than we did, we had chances to make chances.

'Nathan caused problems with his pace but never had a clear cut chance.'

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper will not be remembered for the fantastic saves he made in goal that day but for the howler he made to give Rovers the win they were desperate for at their last game at Belle Vue. The manager then said: 'Paul made a super save at the start of the second half, but there is no respite and no insurance policy for a keeper.

Looking to the rest of the games leading up to the new year he said :' We need to lift the spirits a little bit but we want nobody feeling sorry for themselves and no negativity.

'The momentum has stalled and now Boxing Day at home is a very important game, but we will enjoy the victory and we will enjoy promotion.

A very confident Colin Calderwood there. We really cant afford to lose in our next few games otherwise we could find ourselves knocked off the top spot by one of the chasing teams!
