latest news from the City Ground

After hinting at a clear out at the City Ground in previous post the following rumours have been circulating around the ground:

Nottingham Forest and Port Vale are trying to tie up a move to see Ross Gardner join the Vale on a permanent move which will see him leave on a free transfer as Newcastle have a sell on fee and Forest do not want to have to pay it.

Robert Hughes could be heading out on loan once Colin Calderwood has brought in a new midfielder as he is waiting to make sure he has cover in the midfield.

Dale Roberts looks set the leave the club when is contract finishes at the end of the season. He hasn't play to many games for Alferton this season.

James Beaumont after being released from the club has today joined conference side Northwich Victoria to whom Felix Bastians was on loan with.

Gino Padula has been told he will not play for the club again and has been offered a contract release but is sitting out his contract until the end of the season unless something changes.

Neil Harris has offers from two League One Clubs but Colin Calderwood rates him but has allowed him to decide on his future.

Nicky Eaden move is stalling on his wages demands in which lincoln can not afford but a deal could still happen through the help of Nottingham Forest.

Any chances the club had of moving Kevin James on have been affected by his injury and he will likely stay with the club until the summer when his contract finishes.

Again there is a chance many of these won't happen.
