'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Calderwood Praises Holt

Nottingham Forest manager, Colin Calderwood, has today lavished praise on top scorer Grant Holt after he won Forest the game in the 1-0 win over Yeovil.

'The bonus for him is the goals he scores and the fact that he attracts a great deal of plaudits.

'But his overall game is more important to me because I am sure we would get goals from other areas even if Grant did not get on the scoresheet.'

The 1-0 Win sends the Reds back to the top of the table, and they will be hoping to build on this win after a series of poor league results.

He deserves more credit IMO and it seems unthinkable that we were willing to sell him to Brizzle now. His goals per game ratio this season is around 1 in 2 and that is impressive by any standards.
