'If It's Football, It's Vital'

And Chambers Makes Two

It has probably been the worst kept secret on Trentside that Luke Chambers was going to sign for Forest. Ever since Calderwood's summertime move from the Cobblers we have been linked with the 21 year old centre half. The Reds boss has been a long time admirer of the lad who came through the ranks at Sixfields.

He has signed a two and a half year contract for an undisclosed fee, after having made over 150 appearances for Northampton.

As with today's other new signing David Prutton, he will not be available for Wednesdays game with Carlisle, but will be eligible for the weekend game away at Bradford.
