Forest centre half Wes Morgan is hoping to be fit for this afternoon’s clash with high flying Colchester, speaking to Vital Forest on Saturday Wes said “I had to come off with a bit of a hip injury but I expect to be fit for Monday”.
This will be good news for Megson who is currently short of centre back cover with summer signing Danny Cullip again sidelined with a re-occurring Hamstring injury.
It could prove to be a double blow for Forest if Morgan is unavailable; he has been in outstanding form recently playing alongside club Captain Breckin. If Wes does miss out it could mean a re shuffle of Megsons defence with Thompson moving into the centre and Curtis switching to a more natural left back role. However, with Megson preferring a 5-3-2 formation away from home there could yet be more changes if Morgan is unable to take up a starting role.
