Ayala Banned For Leeds Clash

Daniel Sanchez Ayala will be unavailable for the game against Leeds United on Boxing Day, after he was sent off during the first half of the 2-0 away defeat to Watford on Saturday.

The talented 22 year old centre half is half way through a season long loan deal from Norwich City and has only recently returned from injury. He had only previously been booked once in his 13 appearances for the Reds' this season, but he was issued with two yellow cards before halftime yesterday.

Ayala will serve an automatic one match ban, which means he misses the important Boxing Day clash with Leeds United.
