The Names In The Frame For Forest Job

Alex McLeish has emerged as the early front runner to succeed Sean O'Driscoll as the next boss at the City Ground.

O'Driscoll was surprisingly sacked from his job last night, following the 4-2 home win over Leeds United.

Certain bookmakers have suspended betting on McLeish, leading many to believe he will be the latest to take up the Forest hot seat.

The former Villa, Birmingham and Rangers boss would not be a popular choice with Reds' fans, with many already voicing disapproval. The 53 year old has a reputation for dour, negative football and would alienate support from the start.

Other names being linked include Roberto Di Matteo, Mark Hughes and Roy Keane. Di Matteo would be the standout candidate from that list in my opinion, but there may well be competition for his services, now that Blackburn have sacked their manager as well.

Vital Nottingham Forest is now available on both facebook and twitter, so if you are that way inclined and more importantly understand all this new fangled dangled stuff, feel free to watch us, poke us or whatever else you are meant to do there!

For the love of god please don't hire McLeish.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences on the death of attacking football at Forest, nobody deserves to have to sit through his dire brand of anti football, all I can do is wish you luck, you'll need it.
