Team News: Blackburn Rovers v Nottingham Forest

New Forest manager Alex McLeish, will take full control of his first game since taking over from Sean O'Driscoll last week, when the Reds' travel to Ewood Park to take on Blackburn Rovers (KO:3pm).

McLeish will be forced to make at least one change to the side that valiantly earned a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday, due to Elliot Ward's loan deal coming to an end.

The only injury concern for Forest, lies with on loan Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton. He was withdrawn from the squad that drew with Palace due to illness and according to the official site, McLeish hopes to have him available in time for this game.

Rovers are currently managed by Gary Bowyer (Son of former Red, Ian Bowyer), following the sacking of Henning Berg last week and earned a credible 3-1 win at Barnsley on Saturday. That might be his one and only game in charge, as the Lancashire club says it hopes to appoint a new boss ahead of this fixture.

Rovers face an anxious wait on the fitness of Ruben Rochina. The Rovers sriker limped off after scoring the second goal in the 3-1 win over the Tykes at the weekend.
