Bill And Ned's Big Adventure Part 2

It's a great big welcome home for (the majority of)fans favourite Mr. William Mackintosh Davies, as he is today officially unveiled as the new manager of Nottingham Forest.

This will be the second spell in the City Ground hot seat for the popular and fiery Scott, having spent just over 2 years here between 2009 and 2011. Davies was on the verge of accepting the vacant managers job at Blackpool, but he rejected the offer once the sacking of Alex McLeish was announced on Tuesday, when he was offered the chance of a City Ground return.

Davies will be joined by side kick and Assistant Manager David 'Ned' Kelly. The pair hve formed a formidable partnership over the years and have worked alongside each other at Preston, Derby and their first stint with the Reds'. Kelly today left his short term role at Walsall, where he was Assistant Manager to Dean Smith.

Bill and Ned's first spell with the club was as exciting as it ws turbulent. There were frequent boardroom bust ups and unrest, in between periods of great football, great entertainment and not to mention two Playoff Semi Finls, albeit they ended in defeat. The future looks bright and rosey once again, but watch out Fawaz, you may have bitten off more than you can chew! Welcome home to Bill and Ned.
