Billy And Fawaz Singing From Same Hymn Sheet
The garden is looking rosy for Nottingham Forest at the moment, both on the pitch and off it. Manager Billy Davies has just spent 3 days visiting Kuwait as a guest of Chairman and owner of the club Fawaz Al-Hasawi. Both men ended the visit singing the praises of each other.
Fawaz told the BBC last week, that he hoped Davies would go on and emulate the achievements and longevity of Sir Alex Ferguson at Man Utd. In return, Davies said he had a great relationship with his Chairman.
Speaking about the trip via the official site, Davies said. 'I'm delighted to have seen it all. The chairman and I have got a great relationship. We both know what we're trying to achieve and I have great respect for him and his people. There is a lot of hard work to do, we're not fooled - there'll be highs, lows, bumps and bruises along the way. But the important thing is that we're very much together.'
The visit to Kuwait came in the middle of the international break and the Reds' now prepare for their first game in a fortnight, with the visit of fellow Playoff contenders Brighton, at the City Ground on Saturday. The game is heading for a sellout, with less than 3,000 tickets left for the game.
