Jara Now Available For Free

Nottingham Forest will have been alerted to the news that Gonzalo Jara Reyes will now be available as a free transfer this summer, following the early release from his contract at West Brom.

The Chilean defender had a successful loan spell at the City Ground, following his loan move from the Baggies in January. He made 17 appearances for the Reds' and was a shining light in an otherwise leaky defence.

Unfortunately for Jara, his season ended in disappointment, after he picked up a bad knee injury in the 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough. It cut short his loan spell, meaning he missed the final two games of the season.

West Brom have decided not to take up an additional one year option on his contract and as such he is free to look for another club. If Forest decide to make an approach and manage to secure his signature, they wont get a much better freebie this year.

Vital Nottingham Forest is now available on both facebook and twitter, so if you are that way inclined and more importantly understand all this new fangled dangled stuff, feel free to watch us, poke us or whatever else you are meant to do there!
